There is a fond feeling towards Affordable Art Fair in Melbourne, derived from its position as the first of our art fairs to be hosted in Australia, and visitors feel comfortable when buying art with us. The only Affordable Art Fair to take place in a UNESCO World Heritage Building, our Melbourne edition is unique in combining the contemporary feel of an art fair with traditional architecture. The Royal Exhibition Building (REB) is a universally loved venue in Melbourne, with the iconic Dome bringing in visitors all-year-round, even without an event to attend. Exhibiting underneath its exquisite decorative artwork alongside fellow exhibitors is an extra special experience, especially as Affordable Art Fair Melbourne is distinctive in its bringing together so many national, passionate galleries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In terms of location, the REB is situated in the ideal spot of Carlton Gardens between two sides of the city, with CBD workers and the Arts Precinct to the south, and the sought-after, arty area of Gertrude Street in Fitzroy to the east. Here, you\u2019ll find the world\u2019s best brunch and an unrivalled caf\u00e9 scene. The social aspect of the fair is also important to our visitors, with 31% of people who attended Melbourne 2022 citing that they visited to spend time with loved ones, which aligns with the family-orientated mindset of Melburnians. Visitors are so often looking out for art to buy with and for their children. And, because, once they\u2019ve fallen in love with your gallery they\u2019ll often return, the opportunity presents itself for repeat sales to multiple generations.
