You can find Affordable Art Fair Vienna at MARX HALLE, a historic venue in Vienna’s third district (Landstraße). Once an important industrial space, this beautifully repurposed event hall has become a key hub for art, design, and culture. Easily accessible by public transport, you can reach MARX HALLE via the U3 subway line (Erdberg station), tram 18, or bus routes 74A and 80A.

Kunsthistorisches Museum

The Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna is one of the most important museums in the world. It houses objects from five millennia – from the time of Ancient Egypt to Greek antiquity up the end of the 18th century. The picture gallery contains unique masterpieces by Dürer, Raphael, Rembrandt, Rubens, Titian, Velázquez and Vermeer and the largest Bruegel collection in the world.

Albertina and Albertina modern

The Albertina modern, a branch of the world-famous Albertina, exhibits modern and contemporary art in around 2,500 m² of space. The most important collection of Austrian art after 1945, the Essl Collection, forms the foundation of this museum, which is housed in the Künstlerhaus on Karlsplatz.

Wiener Prater

The Wiener Prater is a vast public park in Vienna, famous for its amusement park and Wiener Riesenrad (Giant Ferris Wheel). Originally a royal hunting ground, it has become a popular leisure spot with green spaces, jogging paths, and carnival rides. The Hauptallee is ideal for outdoor activities, while the Prater Park offers fun and history, making it a top attraction for both locals and visitors.

Schönbrunn Palace

Schloss Schönbrunn is a magnificent Baroque palace and was once the summer residence of the Habsburgs. With 1,441 rooms, it showcases opulent interiors, stunning gardens, and the famous Gloriette. It also houses the world’s oldest zoo. Rich in history and grandeur, Schönbrunn is one of Austria’s top attractions, offering a glimpse into imperial life and breathtaking views of Vienna.

Hundertwasserhaus

The Hundertwasserhaus is a unique Viennese apartment building, designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser and completed in 1985. Known for its colorful façade, irregular shapes, and rooftop greenery, it blends art and architecture. Trees grow on balconies, and the design avoids straight lines. Though residential, visitors can explore the nearby Hundertwasser Village to experience the artist’s vision and learn more about his philosophy of eco-friendly, organic architecture.

Karlsplatz and Wien Museum

Karlsplatz is a major public square in Vienna, known for its historic landmarks, cultural sites, and lively atmosphere. Its highlight is the Karlskirche, a stunning Baroque church with a grand dome.
